    В самом общем смысле, tie-dye (от англ. «tie»- завязывать, скручивать, мешать и «dye» — красить) – это технология окрашивания тканей, при которой на одежде образуется красочный оригинальный узор. Для получения такой текстуры не нужно быть искусным дизайнером или художником — она достигается путем сворачивания ткани в клубок и последующего его помещения в красящий раствор. Результат процесса совершенно непредсказуем – все зависит лишь от выбора цветов и их самостоятельного смешения в орнамент. А посему каждая вещь с эффектом tie-dye уникальна и несет на себе отпечаток внутреннего мира ее создателя.

    Неудивительно, что во многих коллекциях этого сезона наряды с «вываренной» текстурой представлены под эгидой этнических мотивов. Ведь tie-dye берет свое начало в древней культуре азиатских и африканских стран, за несколько веков сформировавшись в отдельное направление в искусстве.     С тех пор технология tie-dye, конечно, эволюционировала, и это касается не только состава красок, но и поверхностей, на которые они теперь наносятся. Дешевые хлопковые ткани канули в Лету вместе с хиппи, а на смену им пришли роскошный шелк, жоржет, кожа и деним. В итоге дизайнерских экспериментов на одежде образуется эффект потертостей, как у Roberto Cavalli, или «потеков» краски, как, к примеру, в прошлогодней коллекции Emilio Pucci. В обоих случаях, tie-dye смотрится незаурядно и прекрасно интегрируется как в романтичный образ, так и в рок-н-рольный шик.

    Особенно полюбилась модникам вариация tie-dye с показа Valentino, где в оранжево-бело-зеленые цвета были окрашены грубоватые графичные куртки, джинсовые брюки и элегантные платья с гипюровыми вставками. К слову, в интерпретации звезд стрит-стайла «тяжелые вещи» с биркой французской марки носятся с изящными босоножками, а легкие платья, наоборот, сочетаются с берцами, челси и мартенсами. Все это свидетельствует об одном, прием tie-dye в лучших традициях поклонников бибопа хранит в себе свободу выглядеть так, как нравится, и делать то, что хочется. Ведь главной тенденцией сегодняшнего дня являются вовсе не «вздохи» по ушедшим десятилетиям, а обращение к порывам собственного «я» и гармонизация души и гардероба.
